"Please hold a class for women in our village''' Miss Long was too busy with the city work I i Girls' Boardih achool" to go ihto the country,so the work there oould not be supervised. Nevertheless on account of the many calls we decided to out extra Bible-women in some of these places. *e had none who were very well trained, but It seearned oest to use the slightly trained women rather than none at all. In some places the church people volunteered to take the women from town to town, and the cart money thus saved was used for the salary of the m£r etfcra workers. Hundreds,-yes-,thousands of women In these country towns ana villages are ready to learn more if we could only go to them* It makes one feel all the time the longing to do the work of at least five peoplei Since her return from furlough in the fall,Miss Tallmon aas been aole to make several trips with a Bible-woman to nearby Tills ;ea 4?{S^t h e y COme b a c k w l t h the >20Bt interesting stories of the people yisiteaand the eager listeners in every place.
