After A short time WE came to the Conclusion that (t was tos cold te Set Our traps out Here So OVE usent back to the Origiva/ stte by Foss hews Sand ¢ Grave/, Here we set out (6 traps, 4 rat traps Aud /2 Mouse traps. for bait WE Used Jolled oats And Peanut batter: WE Set the first trap by the creek iw A Low, Level grassy ATéA right Underneath A Small tree. The second 7/rap was set up A Little higher rights the division of A Large tree. this was About Zo feet from the first trap And 3 feet Above the Creek, Next we climbed ap the side of the rAUINE foA place ujhere there were A Number of Large Aud small holes. Here LE Placed All the rat traps And two Mouse traps. We then proceeded farther Up the creele. WE first Crossed the creek close te the Spot Where we had se+ our 22% trap. Our sext traps were Placed About § feet {rom ushere _|we evossed the creek. Herewe placed _ 3 traps spaced About 2 feet Apart. ‘These traps Were set aut Under AW Ald Log And ond Flat place asext to The Creek, (WE then WENT farther up the stream and Placed more traps.
