Description |
This letter is from Brigham Young to Issac Bullock. It appears that Bullock is living around Fort Laramie, and Brigham Young advised Bullock that the "troops" would be unable to travel as far as his fort, so Bullock should continue to "learn from the Indians and the Mountainers" as they continued to reside in that area. Young also encouraged Bullock to visit with the Shoshone tribes and with "all other tribes" and establish friendly relationships with the Indian groups who lived around Bullock and the other settlers. |
