Description |
8594 The Lion House, located on East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah. It was constructed in 1855 as a residence for part of the families of Brigham Young, and is now used as a social center. Note the lion resting on the portico. The building was built of white sandstone bricks. The Lion House is a great tourist attraction which contains many of the relics and furniture used by the famous Mormon pioneer, Brigham Young. |
