Description Features of parvocellular optic neuropathy associate visual acuity loss, acquired dyschromatopsy, central scotoma and retinal ganglion cell loss in the papillo-macular bundle. This group of diseases is believed to be linked to mitochondrial dysfunction. The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the prevalence of micronutritional deficiencies which could impact mitochondrial function in patients with paravocellular optic neuropathy of different causes.
