Description Message from the Chair Barbara Amidon This is one of my favorite times of the year, next to the ski season! The 2004 Ski Affair promises to be another enjoyable evening recognizing some of the women who paved the way in this wonderful sport of skiing. We look forward to our relationship with RossigruM as ouv major sponsor tor this year's event. It's a great party to kick off the ski season. It's reminiscent of the ski club parties of the 1960s, where we watched the new Warren Miller or Dick Barrymore movies, had fashion shows previewing the new ski wear for the year, and feasted on chili & beer! The Ski Affair is not only a great party, but the money raised is used to preserve the history of skiing in the Intermountain area. Documenting this history is in the process of saving and storage of films, newspaper clipping, photos, and scrapbooks donated by many of you. Equipment and personnel are needed to continue this work. This is where your money goes when you purchase a corporate table, or an item in the silent auction. People from all over the world use this facility to research skiing for books and documentaries and you enjoy the videos and the photo displays. So, please remember this when you are asked to buy a table or write your name on the Silent Auction bid sheet. Thank you very much for your support over the years. I look forward to seeing you on Thursday, October X. 2004 Ski Affair. at the 2004 SKI AFFAIR OCTOBER 21, 2004 LITTLE AMERICA J.
