DAY ONE: The Utah track and field team wrapped up day one of competition at the Drake Relays highlighted by the third-place finish by the 4x800 squad the Drake Relays. The 4x800 squad made up of senior Grace Englund, sophomores Sarah Newton and Nicole Griffiths, and junior Caitlin Faust finished the race with a time of 8:44.72. In the 4x1600-meter relay, seniors Megan Perkins-Killian, Jessica Sams, Dakota Grossman, and junior Sadie Wassum made up the Utah team that placed fifth with a time of 20:11.23. Senior Hannah McInturff represented the Utes in the 1,500-meter race where she finished in 11th with a time of 4:34.11. DAY TWO: Was highlighted by the third-place finish by the 4x800 squad the Drake Relays. The 4x800 squad made up of senior Grace Englund, sophomores Sarah Newton and Nicole Griffiths, and junior Caitlin Faust finished the race with a time of 8:44.72. In the distance medley relay, the Utes finished in ninth posting a time of 11:43.99. the distance medley team included seniors Hannah McInturff, Mesa Weidle and Dakota Grossman and sophomore Nicole Griffiths. |
