Description Rates of obesity, diabetes and other associate healthy problems are increasing throughout the United States as a result of the eating habits and physical activity levels of the majority of people. At the same time there has also been an increase in eating disorders and a decrease in physical activity among teenage girls. Teenage girls are at an age where they are beginning to form habits associated with eating and physical activity that could affect them for the rest of their life. For this reason I create a curriculum for the girl scouts of Utah about how to live a healthy lifestyle titled Health and Lifestyle: The Power of Choice. This curriculum is in a format that will be able to be continually used by the Girl Scouts of Utah and will affect the girls who participate in it for the rest of their life. I learned so much from producing this curriculum and being able to work with some amazing individuals and girls.
