Description |
"Dippy the Dinosaur", the Carnegie Museum of Pittsburgh offered a set of molds made from bones of the most perfect diplodocus skeleton. Using molds Grant Merrell, prepared cast of 667 bones in eight tons of concrete. The display was a traffic stopper on the grounds of the Utah Field House Musem. It was 76 feet long. G. Ernest Untermann along with his staff works on the dipolodocus display. |
