Jens Jensen, Jensen pioneer, dies at age 92. He was born January 16, 1877 to Lars and Anna Marie Jensen. He married Ethel Erickson. He was noted as a veteran river man, running the river from Lily Park on the Yampa River through the Split Mountain and Green River Gorge alone in a 14-foot open row boat. He also was a boat builder. He died October 20, 1969. |
