Description Address: 150 No. 400 East, Bountiful, UT. Congregationalists began meeting in 1881 as a mission of the Salt Lake Congregational Church. Incorporated in 1914 as First Congregational Church of Bountiful, they changed the name to Bountiful Community Church around 1940. After meeting at Bliss Hall downtown for seventy years, they purchased the present campus in the early 1950s and moved services to a new brick building in 1954. The Danforth Chapel was dedicated in 1955, and a new sanctuary was completed in 1971. The local church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
