Description Idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is a disease of unknown origin typically seen in young, obese women. The relationship between anemia and IIH remains controversial as iron-deficiency anemia is also common in young women. Isolated case reports and series exist regarding anemia linked to the development of IIH. This study aimed to systematically review the literature on IIH cases associated with anemia.
