Show Statement of Pit-she-shook, concerning the killing of the certain Indians in Colorado, in October lg07. zZ<.AZi,-i Pit-she-shook being duly sworn according to law deplore and says that she, vras a incmber of the camp attacked by the cow boys in October IG07, in Colorado. I vras not for away fron the camp when some of the Indians cried out the corr boys are coming. A I started for the camp and when I heard this I ran Into the Wickeyup and got a rope and my saddle and started towards a band of horses and caught one of them and saddled him and got a little grand daugther and put her on the horse <xiid told her to go which she did. I stayed there a littBfl. a while and then went into a little ravine and got around little knoll and upon the knoll among the cedars and watched the canp. X saw the Indians r/ho remained and would not i;o way. I saw the cow boys around the campj. They were all around the canp. I did not count the cow boys but there was lots of them . They had a little fire and tiie Indians more standing aro.u.d this. They had no guns, and v.o time during tho trouble did the Indians /. A attempt to shoot,the;/ no gun And none of the tried to got any guns. I vras but a short distance from the camp. ( Estimated from object point ed out about 150 yards) hatf'e remained in this position for a short tine and seen nothing be done I thought mayd.e they were friends and I start -ed back to the camp, and when I cane near then stopped out side of the camp. I said to a cor; boy you scare me, what are you going to do/nore arc our horses and re are roziy to go and are going home and the cow boy said No shaking his head.
