Scan of a typed transcript of the journal of John Hamilton Morgan, covering the period September 27, 1884, to July 4, 1885. Images out of order. [Images 1 - 8]: Vol. 120, leaf 30, end of entry before one that is dated May 12 (1885), through leaf 33 ending at July 4; [9 - 40]: Leaf 15, end of Sept. 27 1884 entry, continuing to leaf 29, entry for May 11, 1885. Morgan served as a missionary and head of the Southern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He arranged for the settlement of a group of converts to relocate from the South to near Pueblo in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. He also served on the Church's First Council of the Seventy |
