A man works on a footbridge that crosses a revine at the Dinosaur National Monument. The men also rocked the walls of the revine and made a stone water chanel. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. The men labored to remove the overburden from the hillside and fossils in preparation of a quarry. |
