Description Diagnosis Clinical Criteria are the most important. The history of fluctuation of symptoms should make the diagnosis suspect. In generalized M.G. there is weakness of cranial muscles (extraocular, face, chewing, swallowing, tongue), neck, limbs and trunk, without sensory or reflex change. The weakness typically fluctuates from hour to hour and from day to day, and ‘fatiguability' may be demonstrable on exam. Any isolated or combination muscle weakness may be seen.
