Description The treatment of idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is based largely on anecdotal evidence and small case series as there have been no randomized, prospective treatment trials for IIH to date. In preparation for a multi-center treatment trial, retrospective data were collected from patients with idiopathic intracranial hypertension who were seen at diagnosis and followed for 4-12 months.
