Description |
The photo shows where rock and earth were removed from the Dinosaur Monument. Men were stationed at the Dinosaur Monument to remove the overburden in preparation for a future quarry. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
