Description Limitation of vertical and adducting eye movements, eyelid ptosis, and pupillary abnormalities are all well known to occur with midbrain and thalamic lesions. However, limitation of abducting eye movements with midbrain-thalmic lesions, so-called pseudoabducens palsy, has been reported only rarely (1-2).
