Charles Marion Batty

Charles Marion Batty is a son of Charles Hugh and Bertha May Richens Batty. He was born in Wallsburg, Utah on October 6, 1905. He came to the Ashley Valley and attended local schools, graduating from Uintah High School in 1924. He played basketball in high school. He was trained as an auto mechanic, employed in local garages. In 1934 he entered the sheep business. He married Mable Siddoway in 1929. He died in May 1943 at the age of thirty-seven and is buried in the Vernal Memorial Park.
