Located at 528 West Main is Milt' Mdse. Mart, owned and operated Milt Searle and later his son, Flynn C. Searle. This photo was taken in December of 1976 as you can see the Christmas decorations hanging from the windows and garland through out the store. Milt's sold furniture, appliances, and hardware. Summer time was big on the sale of lawn mowers and garden tillers. This store was in this location from the early 1950's to 1994 when it moved to 690 West Main. It was later sold to Dirk Labrum. |
