Description |
Isolated bilateral horizontal gaze palsy (BHGP) caused by bilateral dysfunction of the pontine paramedian reticular formation (PPRF) with sparing of the horizontal oculocephalic reflex is unusual, and BHGP are almost always associated with bilateral peripheral cranial nerve 7 palsies. We present a case of isolated BHGP as the presenting sign of neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). |
