Young Farmers of the Uintah Basin group went on a tour to Lions Point on Diamond Mountain. From this point the group was able to view the Echo Park Dam site and learn the need for Echo Park Dam. About 50 farmers were expected but 250 came. B. H. Stringham, former Vernal mayor and chairman of the 21-county committee for the project, was in charge of the tour. |
