Description Typewritten petition addressed to Utah Governor Henry H. Blood requesting the creation of a rotating board of examiners for the profession of beauticians, with seven pages of signatures by Utah beauticians and cosmetologists. Undated, but from the late 1930s, possibly from late 1938, as the annual convention of the "Utah Association of Better Beauty Shops" drafted legislation to establish such a board, according to articles in the Deseret News and the Salt Lake Tribune on Nov. 14, 1938.
