Title Relative Afferent Pupillary Defects and Resolution Perimetry in Multiple Sclerosis
Creator Terry A. Cox, MD, PhD
Affiliation Durham, North Carolina
Subject Relative Afferent Pupillary Defects; Ganglion Cell Population; Resolution Perimetry; Multiple Sclerosis
Description Both high-pass resolution perimetry and quantitative measurement of the relative afferent pupillary defect (RAPD) provide an assessment of the ganglion cell population of the retina and optic nerve. Because these two techniques have not been compared, I decided to perform a study in a large group of patients with a single diagnosis.
