Description |
This house was built for Charles Brown & his wife Hilma Johnson Brown. There is still a doorknob plate dated 1895 and the house is noted for its circular front porch. Charles was the 3rd Mayor of Murray. During his two terms in office a volunteer fire dept. was organized, a city hall and jail were built & the Fireman's Hall was built. |
