Apple Training on Campus by Jeremy Robb The Division of Continuing Education [DCE] will be offering new Apple training classes for campus. Mac OS X Server Essentials Mac OS X Server Essentials is a four-day course designed to give technical coordinators and entry-level system administrators the skills, tools, and knowledge to implement and maintain a Mac OS X Server-based system. Students will learn to install and configure Mac OS X Server to provide network-based services, such as file sharing, authentication, and printing. Tools for efficiently managing and deploying Mac OS X are also covered. A combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience, this class will prepare you for the Mac OS X Server Essentials certification exam. Mac OS X Support Essentials Mac OS X Support Essentials is a three-day, hands-on course that provides an intensive and in-depth exploration of troubleshooting on Mac OS X. This course is designed to give you a tour of the breadth of functionality of Mac OS X and the best methods for effectively supporting users of Mac OS X systems. A combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience, this class will prepare you for the Mac OS X Support Essentials certification exam. Jeremy Robb from DCE will discuss the classes, reduced tuition for benefited employees, and any other questions. |
