Description Gregory "Greg" C. Thompson served on the board of the Utah Humanities Council from 1999-2005. For a one year he was board co-chair with Phillip Bimstein, and then served as board chair the following year. He worked for 15 years at the University of Utah's American West Center, before becoming the Associate Dean for the J. Willard Marriott and Head of Special Collections at the University of Utah. In his interview he talks fondly about the people and experiences he had while on the board, and how it impacted his career, and Utah, as a whole.
