Description |
Bill (1921-2002), Joseph Orval (1881-1964) father, and Stanley (1924-1992) Hoopes. Joseph Orvel and Eva M. Hoopes lived in Whiterocks, Uintah, Utah in 1920. He was a farmer and she was a homemaker. They had four daughters when they moved from Wyoming to this area. In the next ten years they added four more children, two boys and two girls. Their two sons, Orvel and Bill, graduated from Alterra High School. They served in World War II then returned to the Uinta Basin and raised their families on the West side of Uintah County. They are all buried in the Tridell Cemetery. |
