Title |
State Street, Murray City, Utah in 1905 |
Subject |
State Street; early Murray |
Description |
Water system installed on State Street in 1905. A glass negative was found in some debris under the porch of a local residence. It was spliced together by former Murray photographer, Art Peters, and this scene on State St. was discovered. The upper right corner is missing but one can see the sidewalks on the street which were becoming the norm at this time as well as a weighing scale at the curb (very common at the time).
