Cavernous sinus thrombosis (CST) is a rare condition traditionally associated with high mortality and morbidity most commonly affecting males in their third decade of life.1 Contemporary series report more favorable outcomes, including full functional recovery and lower mortality rates than previous literature.2,3,4,5 Current prognostic factors for visual and survival outcomes in CST remain undefined. |
