| Description |
The plant is located 5 miles northeast of Leamington in Leamington Canyon. It began production in 1982. The 150 acre site was selected for its excellent supply of limestone, gypsum and iron. Martin Marietta supplied all of the cement for the Intermountain Power Plant. It was sold to Ash Grove Cement in 1989 |
