Commissioner Indian Affairs, ' „Washington, D.C; Sir:; /*%'\ Replying to communiontion from your office dated.15th inst.^ Land 81470-1907, File 05g, relative to the relinquishment of (William 7.. Hill's) Onondago right that he may be enrolled with the Utes, I desire to refer you to my communication of September 6, I-.07, vrith enclosures, relative to the 3tatus of the children of Nettie Hill. This matter was taken up originally to determine whether or not the.se annuitants might have obtained double enrolment through over-sught. The fact that they reside upon the Onondaga Reservation would indicate the possibility of their being enrolled at that point while they are also carried on the annuity rolls at this Agency. Nettie Hill herself has been on the rolls of thin Agency for some time and the children as they were born have been from, time to time enrolled and the last born child, William W. Hill, ha3 also been added to the roll here. Payment to these auunitanta-of their-a, last per capita share has been suspended pending notification, from your office that such payment is proper. I am returning relinquishment in case of the minor child, |
