Description |
Optic nerve enlargement is an uncommon neuroradiologic finding caused by tumors, inflammation, and increased intracranial pressure. Optic neuritis is a rare cause of optic nerve enlargement, commonly mentioned in textbooks, that has previously been reported only with CT imaging. We report two cases of optic neuritis with enlargement of the optic nerve on MRI and resolution with follow-up. |
