Description |
In this letter, D. B. Huntington informs Brigham Young of an encounter that he had with an "influential Indian." Huntington explained that the encounter was "friendly" and that the Indian informed Huntington that the Mormons were not friends to the Americans, and that many Americans were seeking to destroy the Mormons. Huntington also told Young about his plans to meet with Chief Walker once he learned of his wearabouts, and explained that he had heard that Chief Walker had moved from his previously known location. |
