Ms. Finchey's First Grade Class

"Ms. Finchey's First Grade Class is a concept and preliminary design for a children's book. A class of first graders filled out a sheet on who they'd like to be when they grow up, and their teacher, who found them many years later, decided to compare it to who they actually became. " From the artist. Three students are shown, along with an illustration of the full class. A polaroid portrait of them as children is attached to their original worksheets; besides them is a photo of them years later with a sticky note describing their current career/living situations. This work was displayed as part of the 2024 Illustration Capstone exhibition.
