Lloyd, Ph.D., research professor of pharmacology at the University of Utah School of Medicine, was named a Fellow of the Health Physics Society recently during the group's 37th annual meeting in Columbus, Ohio. The field of health physics is concerned with protection of people and the environment from radiation of all types and from all sources, including medical, microwave, lasers, nuclear power and weaponry, and that which occurs in nature. |
