Intracranial compression of the optic nerve by the carotid artery has recently regained popularity as a diagnostic entity, in part, due to the high spatial resolution and muitiplaner imaging capabilities of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). To estimate the frequency of anatomical contact and compression of the intracranial optic nerve by the carotid artery using MRI. |
