Description Balint's syndrome of simutagnosia, optic ataxia, and misdirection of visually guided saccades usually occurs with bilateral parieto-occipital lesions. Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has seldom been reported. Balint's syndrome had not been reported in PRES.
