Description Recent clinical trials have emphasized the natural history of acute optic neuritis, its association with multiple sclerosis (MS) and its management. However, the current management of the acute optic neuritis patient by neurologists and ophthalmologists varies widely and remains debated. The aim of this study was to evaluate the current practice patterns of Thai ophthalmologists and neurologists and the impact of the most recent clinical trials on the management of acute optic neuritis.
