Description |
Men from the FERA camp at Dinosaur Monument work to remove overburden from the quarry area. They use the boards to to pust carts or wheelbarrels on to dump the overburden over the edge of the mountain. A group of men from the CWA (Civilian Works Administration) and the FERA (Federal Emergency Relief Administration) worked and lived at the Monument under the supervision of Dr. Albert C. Boyle, geologist and custodian of the Dinosaur National Monument. |
