Title Liberalization as an approach to developing African countries
Date 1992-06
Year graduated 1992
Description It is difficult to overstate the impact of ending the cold war. If it continues, easing of East-West tensions could start a process of human development that is long overdue for Eastern Europe and the ex-Soviet Union. As businessmen, diplomats, and economists start inching their way past the old iron curtain it is easy to become sidetracked from the other corners of the world. Today's political and economic reform of the Eastern block has far-reaching consequences for other areas of the world- particularly Africa.
