Description |
INTRODUCTION While IOP-lowering eyedrop treatment is effective at decreasing glaucoma's visual function loss, its disadvantages require renewed effort to improve the future of glaucoma treatment. This will involve a change to sustained delivery of medications directly to the eye, and, agents whose mechanism of action is to block retinal ganglion cell death by pathways other than and in addition to pressure lowering. |
