Description Re: Photo opportunity of underrepresented students training to work as U lab techs. WHAT: 14 students from schools throughout the valley, who will be high school juniors, seniors and college freshmen this fall, will begin work Monday as U of U lab techs through the end of July. Funding is from the National Institutes of Health and the U of U School of Medicine. The program was open to students throughout the state; participants were selected from more than 80 applicants.
