Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON) is an inherited mitochondrial disorder characterized by optic nerve degeneration leading to progressive visual loss. Prior reports have described multiple sclerosis (MS) associated with all three primary LHON mutations (m.11778A>G, m.3460A>G, and m.14484T>C.
