Neuro-ophthalmic examination revealed light perception vision, marked visual field loss and optic nerve pallor in both eyes. The patient reports a history of obsessive compulsive disorder that causes him to eat only French fries, potato chips and pretzels. Vitamin A levels were checked and found to be markedly reduced. |
