Title Mormon attitudes towards euthanasia
Date 1978-04-17
Year graduated 1978
Description Here one has two judges making two life and death decisions in cases which were in their essence remarkably similar; however, there were opposite rulings made concerning an individual's right to die. With these two opposite rulings it would be interesting to see which of these two rulings would be favored by the population. The rest of this paper will be devoted to the study of the members of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints, Mormons, their attitudes towards euthanasia. This analysis of Mormon attitudes towards euthanasia will utilize the Symbolic Interactionist Theory of human behavior.
