Description Fossil dinosaur bones taken from Dinosaur National Monument, on display at the Carnegie Museum. Carnegie Museum: The skeleton in the center right is that of Apatosaurus louisae, the dinosaur found by Earl Douglass on August 17, 1909. This was just after it was mounted in 1915. The skeleton on the left almost out of frame is Diplodocus carnegii.
