Registration was higher than prior in-person meetings with nearly 850 registrants. Over 100 participants tuned in from outside of the United States, representing 32 different countries, a metric unobtainable without the meeting’s virtual format. The program was a mixture of prerecorded talks and live Q&A, with breakout sessions for networking groups. Three parallel tracks highlighted updates of the various neurologic clinical disciplines, practice management issues, curbside consultations, how-to talks (including on teleneurology), neuroscience in the clinic and controversies in neurology plenary sessions, keynote addresses on COVID-19 and health care disparities, and even an interactive “Jeopardy” session. NANOS members e6 were well represented by Valerie Biousse’s tour de force Update in Neuro-Ophthalmology (in 23 minutes!) and a unique multidisciplinary panel session on the management of idiopathic intracranial hypertension by the Utah group, Kathleen Digre, Brad Katz, and neurosurgeon Richard Schmidt. NANOS was also represented by Nancy J. Newman who served as course director of the Neurology Update sessions and comoderated the meeting. Next year, back in Vegas! Nancy J.
