History A 6-year old female with a 1-week history of worsening vision OU > OD and a 2-month history of worsening headaches.
Pathology Mixed inflammatory infiltrate composed of eosinophils and histiocytes.
Disease/Diagnosis Langerhan's Cell Histiocytosis of the skull base, extending into both orbital apices, causing compressive optic neuropathies, right greater than left
Clinical VA: NLP OD; 20/100 OS; Color vision: none OD, 4/13 OS; RAPD OD; Central scotoma OS; Sinus abnormalities noted on MR
Presenting Symptom Loss of vision OU; Headache
Neuroimaging CT; MRI
Treatment Surgery; Antineoplastic agents
